Your little one's safety is our top priority, always. The play mat is made from organic cotton with a small polyester blend for durability, and the wooden parts are certified birch-ply and beechwood. Every bit of paint we use is water-based and non-toxic — because safety always comes first.
We totally get why little ones want to taste-test everything! The hanging toys and wooden parts are finished with water-based, non-toxic paint on certified wood, so occasional mouthing is fine. That said, with regular teething and moisture exposure, painted surfaces can wear down over time — so we'd recommend avoiding chewing on them for long stretches.
